Ian is the Executive Vice Chairman of McEwen Inc., a gold, silver, and copper mining company listed on the NYSE and TSX. He has spent most of his career in the mining and natural resources sector, holding executive roles in companies engaged in gold and silver exploration, development, and royalty businesses across North and South America. Previously, Ian was President and CEO of Abitibi Royalties Inc., a Toronto-listed gold royalty company, where he served as an officer and director from 2014 until its $250 million acquisition in 2021. Prior to his tenure at Abitibi Royalties Inc., Ian served as McEwen Inc.’s President.
